ABOUT ME


Ashwini Pai Bahadur is the Director of Artspeaks India, a Delhi-based initiative focused on arts, culture, cultural programming and outreach, and the Consulting Director of The Glass Maker Club, a platform dedicated to promoting studio glass in India and South Asia. With over two decades of experience across the arts, culture and heritage sectors, her work brings together curatorial practice, cultural programming, strategic partnerships, institution building and public engagement.

She previously served as Director of the Partition Museum Delhi, where she was involved in the development of the museum and its programmes. She is a Member of the Commonwealth Cultural Forum and the National Scientific Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage, ICOMOS-India.

As an Executive Member and Co-Chair of the CII-IWN Arts & Culture Committee, Ashwini contributes to developing cultural programmes, conversations and outreach initiatives that connect art, heritage and contemporary ideas with wider audiences.

Until recently, she was Editorial Consultant for INTACH’s quarterly publication, Virasat, and served on the Organising Committee of the INTACH National Convenors’ Convention, helping create a forum for dialogue around India’s rich and diverse heritage.

Her work is driven by a belief in the power of culture to create meaningful connections between people, ideas, histories and communities, while making the arts more accessible, relevant and engaging to contemporary audiences.
