Ashwini edited Virasat, the quarterly newsletter of the Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage. She considers it a privilege to have been a member of the editorial team of Virasat as its Assistant Editor , which features significant cultural and heritage developments in India. During her tenure, Ashwini meticulously covered all aspects of INTACH’s activities across the country, ensuring comprehensive representation of its diverse initiatives through contributions received from its chapters. Her work spanned editing submissions from a broad spectrum of heritage preservation efforts, including the restoration and conservation of heritage architecture and the protection and promotion of intangible cultural heritage, such as traditional music, dance, and folklore. Ashwini also highlighted articles and essays contributed by INTACH professionals on the significance of natural heritage, bringing attention to the conservation of India’s rich biodiversity and natural landscapes. By covering these varied dimensions, she played a crucial role in raising awareness about the importance of preserving India’s multifaceted heritage.
